Fleet F77 from Stratos
Fleet F77 is the first, full-featured model in a family of new high-bandwidth IP-enabled global satellite systems. The Fleet product suite is the next generation of maritime satellite communications, having evolved from the highly successful Inmarsat A, B and M systems, but using much more lightweight stabilized antennas.
In essence, Stratos Fleet F77 is a marine-enabled Inmarsat M4. It is an integrated service that allows you to choose from Mobile Packet Data (MPDS), ISDN, PSTN and low cost voice telephony.
Mobile Packet Data revolutionizes satellite communications by providing an "always on" channel where you only pay for data sent and received, not the time connected. In effect, “your thinking time is free”. For the first time, cost effective Internet Access, as well as real-time telemetry, SCADA and messaging applications are available to all maritime users.
Fleet F77 from Stratos also provides dedicated 64Kbps ISDN connectivity, enabling high-speed data transfer and high quality voice, fax and video, a 3.1 kHz audio channel for the connection of analogue devices as well as low cost "mini M" voice telephony and fax. Stratos offers enhanced Fleet F77 128Kbps service on a global basis.
Fleet F55 from Stratos
Fleet F55 is the second in a family of new high-bandwidth IP-enabled global satellite systems. The Fleet product suite is the next generation of Inmarsat maritime satellite communications offered by Stratos, having evolved from the highly successful Inmarsat-A, -B and -M systems, but using much more lightweight stabilized antennas.
Stratos' Fleet F55service offers you the versatility to choose from spot beam services such as Mobile Packet Data (MPDS), ISDN, PSTN and global low cost voice telephony; providing a communications solution with global reach. The F55 is designed for use in the medium yacht market and commercial trading markets, other than deep sea.
Fleet F33 from Stratos
The third member of a family of new high-bandwidth IP-enabled global satellite system,
Fleet F33 brings facilities and services—previously available only on much larger vessels—directly to users on smaller vessels in the Inmarsat spot beams. This member of the Fleet family of products is the next generation of Inmarsat maritime satellite communication solutions offered by Stratos, having evolved from the highly successful Inmarsat A, B and M systems, but using a much more lightweight, stabilized and easy-to-install antenna.
Fleet F33 delivers digital voice calling, fax and dial-up data service at 9.6 kbps. Plus, with available V40/V42 compression, Fleet F33 can provide apparent data speeds of up to 40 kbps.
Fleet F33 Mobile Packet Data Service (MPDS) provides "always connected" benefits combined with data-based billing. This always-on, higher-speed option is particularly suited to IP-based data applications, such as Web surfing, intranet access and e-mail.
